About us — more than a shop, a lifestyle
Almost 25 years ago, Sammy was a young punk who wanted to see as many punk and rock bands as possible. His idea was to work at festivals while seeing the bands he loved. That was how Metallrockshop began.
Just over ten years ago, Veronica and Sammy met by chance. Together, they built on the dream and created Hellgate with a new style and a shared passion.
Since then, there have been hundreds of festivals across Europe, heavy boxes and sweaty working days. Plenty of hard work, lots of laughs and a hell of a lot of fun working with what we love: rock, metal and punk.
We are damn careful about what we bring in. Quality, style and details have to feel right. We do not sell just anything simply to make a sale. We have our own taste, but we love hearing your advice, ideas and requests.
Today, you can find us in our Stockholm shop, online and at selected festivals. Music and community are still at the heart of everything we do.
